NEPSI is thrilled to announce that we have been acquired by AMSC, a leading supplier of STATCOM systems into the renewables and utilities industries. As an AMSC company, NEPSI will continue to provide the highest quality and most innovative reactive power solutions while now having access to additional, advanced power electronic technologies to better serve our customers’ needs as part of AMSC’s Gridtec Solutions reactive power suite.

AMSC and NEPSI both lead the market in supplying reactive power sources for industries worldwide. AMSC’s STATCOMs are fast and smart active reactive power generators, dynamically responding to every load shift at a granular level, while NEPSI’s solutions provide the base level of reactive power, responding to coarse changes in reactive power demand.
